Approval and execution of a professional services agreement renewal with Quality Forensic Toxicology, L.L.C. to provide breathalyzer services and alcohol/drug blood analysis testing services submitted by law enforcement agencies ("LEA's) in Bexar County, in an amount up to $378,842 for a term commencing on October 1, 2022 and ending on September 30, 2023, with a remaining one-year term.

Discussion and appropriate action regarding a request for four (4) additional Investigators in the Bexar County Sheriffs Office to serve in the Criminal Investigation Division to help investigate violent crimes for an estimated cost of $530,000.
Discussion and appropriate action regarding Bexar County's Legislative Program for the 88th Texas Legislature.
Discussion and appropriate action to submit a letter signed by the County Judge and Commissioners to the Bexar County Legislative Delegation regarding the increase in jail population due to restrictive bail policies and the inaction of State agencies to comply with their statutory requirements. The increase in jail population without proper state reimbursements places a hardship on Sheriffs, County Government and the Citizens of Bexar County.
Discussion and appropriate action regarding payment of Bexar County's self-insured retention in the amount of $200,000 to Intact Insurance (formerly OneBeacon) in the matter of the Estate of Leon Causey v. Bexar County, as authorized by the Bexar County Commissioners Court on October 25, 2022, and authorization for Intact to take over defense and resolution of the claim.
